Stillness

Hummingbirds are some of the most beautiful and majestic animals here on earth. We often spot them extremely busy, flying about erratically helping to pollinate flowers, all the while, mesmerizing us with their colors, texture, and beauty. As I thought about this idea, it dawned on me how if we could catch a hummingbird “still”, it’s true beauty would be revealed. Every feather, color, and the intricacies of the way it’s comprised would become evident. In the same way, The Lords been taking me through a season of revealing how He as the artist has truly created me, and He’s revealing it to my heart in “stillness”. As busyness subsides, my identity and created value are revealed. I pray this painting becomes reminder for us to commune with Jesus In “Stillness”, where he can truly demonstrate the beauty and intricacies of how we are created. He’s the artist and the potter, and we are wonderfully made by Him! May your every detail be used to further the Kingdom. 🙏🏽Bless you.
