FOREVER COURTSIDE SCULPTURE
PEARSON PARK, ANAHEIM, CA
The Forever Courtside Sculpture mural is part of the Anaheim Dream Court which is located in Pearson Park, where Kobe and Vanessa Bryant frequently walked. The Anaheim Dream Court was a project in collaboration between Nancy Lieberman Charities, The Mambacita Foundation, Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation, Brian Peterson Art, and the City of Anaheim.
Brian designed and installed the public art sculpture, shading, benching, and lighting. This mural was installed on an aluminum structure and painted with... This sculpture honors Kobe and Gianna Bryant's legacy and what they mean to basketball and sports. Brian's hope is that as children are playing basketball at the court, they will look up to the images of Kobe and Gianna, are inspired by their legacy and develop a Mamba-like mentality to their practice.
